The mortal remains of the late Overseer of Friendship Church International Worldwide, Bishop John Ocheogwu Dickson, have been laid to rest in Texas, United States of America, following a solemn and celebratory farewell.
A poignant joint wake-keeping service was held at Friendship Church International Cathedral Kakuri, Kaduna, where heartfelt prayers were offered for the departed soul of Bishop Dickson.
The service drew an impressive gathering of top Christian clerics from various denominations, mourners and devoted church members, all united in grief and celebration of the Bishop's life.
Delivering his sermon, Bishop Mike Ose described the late Bishop as a dedicated man of God who devoted his life to spreading the message of Christianity globally and serving humanity with compassion and love.
According to him Bishop Dickson was a shining example of faith, hope, and love, urging attendees to emulate his unwavering commitment to the gospel.
In her powerful preaching, Bishop Agnes Benedicta Iroegbu stated that Bishop Dickson's passing had created a profound vacuum in the Christian world, expressing heartfelt condolences to the global Christian community, the Dickson family, and the entire Friendship Church International Worldwide family.
She said, the christian community will miss his infectious smile, his inspiring sermons and his unwavering dedication to the Lord's work.
Other prominent Christian leaders commended Bishop Dickson's sacrificial journey of faith, his unyielding commitment to Christianity and his tireless efforts to spread the gospel.
They described him as a visionary leader, a devoted servant of God and a true champion of the faith.
Bishop John Ocheogwu Dickson, the revered founder of Friendship Church International Worldwide, passed away at the ripe age of 70, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and service.
His wake-keeping services attracted hundreds of mourners at Friendship Church International, Texas, United States and Friendship Church International, Kakuri Cathedral, Kaduna, as friends, family, and fellow believers bid him a final farewell before his burial.
Bishop Dickson's life and ministry serve as a testament to his unwavering faith and dedication to the gospel.
