Tajudeen Abbas appoints Nasiru Dembo Lere Senior Legislative Aide, effective immediately, officially confirmed.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, has approved the appointment of Barrister Nasiru Dembo Lere as his Senior Legislative Aide.

The appointment, which takes immediate effect, was confirmed in a letter signed by Essien Eyo Essien, Secretary of Human Resources and Staff Development at the National Assembly Commission.

Reacting to the development, the Lere Development Association (LDA) congratulated Barrister Lere, describing the appointment as a remarkable milestone. 

In a statement issued by its Publicity Secretary, Sani Ahmed Lere, the Association commended his dedication, competence, and commitment to public service, while urging him to bring his wealth of experience to bear in his new responsibilities.

Until his appointment, Barrister Nasiru Dembo Lere served as President of the Lere Development Association and was Principal Partner at Woodfield Legal, Abuja.

The appointment is seen as a recognition of his contributions to community development and his professional expertise, as he takes on a new role in supporting legislative processes at the National Assembly.
