The Muslim Youth Foundation of Southern Kaduna (MYFOSKA) has announced a major restructuring of its Board of Trustees (BOT) and National Executive Council (NEC), appointing Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Alhaji Tanimu Mohammed Inuwa, as the new Chairman of its Board of Trustees.
The appointments were approved during an Emergency National Executive Council meeting held on July 7, 2026, following the voluntary resignation of the Foundation's pioneer Board Chairman, Comrade Sanusih A.S. Maikudi (Dan'Iyan Jama'a), who served on the Board of Trustees for 15 years.
As part of the restructuring, Malam Bala Korau was appointed Secretary of the Board of Trustees, replacing Dr. Shu'aibu Dabo, while all other members of the Board retained their respective positions.
The Foundation also unveiled a reconstituted National Executive Council, with Dr. Kabiru Mohammed emerging as National Chairman. Other officials include Malam Musa Badembo as Vice Chairman, Usman Sadiq Abubakar as Secretary General, Nura Bako Zango as National Public Relations Officer, and Abubakar Muhammad Gyani as National PRO II, alongside other executive members.
MYFOSKA expressed appreciation to the outgoing executive members for their dedicated service and paid special tribute to Comrade Maikudi for what it described as his outstanding mentorship and commitment to the Foundation over the years. The organisation prayed for Allah's continued blessings upon the outgoing officials while urging the newly appointed executives to serve with dedication, integrity and the fear of Allah.
The Foundation also commended the Kaduna State Government for its sustained efforts towards promoting unity and improving security across the state, particularly acknowledging the government's commitment to securing the release of citizens abducted by bandits. It, however, appealed to the government to intensify efforts to ensure the safe rescue of those still in captivity.
MYFOSKA further called on its members to remain united, uphold the ideals of the Foundation and participate actively in the forthcoming general elections across the country.
