The three years in office of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani have been marked by remarkable progress, visionary leadership, and tangible development across Nigeria and particularly in Kaduna State.
It is a period that has brought renewed hope, restored confidence, and delivered meaningful dividends of democracy to the people.
The Southern Kaduna elder statesman, Wazirin Ikulu, Dr. Ayasal Anthony described this moment as one of great joy not only for Nigerians, but especially for the people of Kaduna State.
According to him, the leadership of both the federal and state governments has demonstrated a sincere commitment to inclusive governance, unity and sustainable development.
Using Southern Kaduna as a clear example, Dr. Ayasal Anthony highlighted how the region has become one of the major beneficiaries of President Tinubu’s administration.
For decades, the people of Southern Kaduna had long yearned for recognition and inclusion in national development. Today, that dream is gradually becoming a reality.
The President established a historic Federal University of Applied Sciences in Kachia, a development that has brought higher education closer to the people and opened new doors of opportunity for thousands of youths. In addition, the Federal Medical Centre in Kafanchan has been prioritized and strengthened to provide quality healthcare services to the people of the zone and beyond.
Dr. Anthony noted that beyond physical infrastructure, the Tinubu administration has deliberately carried the people of Southern Kaduna along in the affairs of government. Key indigenes have been appointed into strategic positions, giving the zone a stronger voice and making the people more relevant in national decision-making. This sense of belonging, he said, is one of the most important achievements of the current government.
Speaking on the achievements of the Kaduna State Government, Wazirin Ikulu commended Governor Uba Sani for his people-centered policies and inclusive approach to governance. He pointed to the establishment of an ultramodern skill acquisition center in Samaru Kataf as a landmark project that is equipping youths with practical skills for self-reliance and economic empowerment.
He also praised the extensive road network projects that have connected rural communities to urban centers, easing transportation and boosting trade.
According to him, Governor Sani’s administration has shown that governance is not only about building structures, but about restoring peace, rebuilding trust, and uniting people across ethnic and religious lines.
Above all, Dr. Ayasal Anthony said, “the government has provided peaceful coexistence and mutual trust among the diverse communities of Kaduna State. This is proof that the administration is committed to delivering more dividends of democracy to the people.
The elder statesman emphasized that the people of Kaduna State now have concrete reasons to support President Ahmed Bola Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani for a second term in office.
He argued that continuity is essential to consolidate the developmental projects already in progress, both in terms of physical infrastructure and human capital development.
He said these leaders have laid a strong foundation, giving them another opportunity will ensure that the ongoing projects are completed and that more communities benefit from government interventions. The people deserve to continue enjoying this new era of progress and inclusion.”
In his closing remarks, Wazirin Ikulu offered prayers for the continued success of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani’s administrations. He prayed for wisdom, strength and good health for both leaders as they steer the affairs of the nation and the state.
He also urged citizens to rally round their leaders at the federal, state and local government levels to give them the courage and support they need to meet the yearnings and aspirations of the people.
