At the commissioning ceremony, the lawmaker described Governor Uba Sani as a role model who is championing the course of meeting the needs of the people of Kaduna State, thereby making them beneficiaries of democracy.
According to him, the road has brought an end to the long-standing transportation difficulties that had adversely affected the livelihoods of the people in the area.
Hon. Chawai noted that the transportation challenges are now a thing of the past, thanks to Governor Uba Sani's responsive and proactive leadership.
Governor Uba Sani had initially promised to complete it within two years. However, his unwavering commitment and visionary leadership has enabled its completion in just one and a half years, which is truly commendable.
The road has already yielded positive results, facilitating easier transportation, enhancing business activities, improving security, and boosting economic growth in the area .
Hon. Chawai also expressed appreciation for the provision of operational bases at Dokan Karji, and Kwasam during the tenure of the former Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, who is now the Minister of Defence, with the assistance of Governor Uba Sani, which has contributed significantly to securing lives and property and brought normalcy to the area.
Hon Chawai further acknowledged Governor Uba Sani's influence that enabled the lawmaker to secure one billion naira funding for a Dam & irrigation scheme for Kauru Federal Constituency. This is expected to enhance agricultural activities in the area.
The lawmaker appealed to Governor Uba Sani to construct roads at Kumana, linking Kwassam to Mariri, Fadan Chawai & Bakin Kogi to Kamarun Chawai.
