Nigeria’s U-20 national team has received a major boost ahead of their World Cup clash against Norway as Molde FK has officially released teenage midfielder, Daniel Daga.

The 18-year-old was unable to travel with the squad from Nigeria to Chile due to club commitments and also missed the team’s 12-day intensive training camp. However, his late arrival is expected to strengthen the Flying Eagles’ midfield options as they prepare for their crucial fixture on Monday.

Highly regarded for his composure, energy, and tactical awareness, Daga’s inclusion is seen as a timely reinforcement for Coach Ladan Bosso’s side, who are determined to make a strong impact on the world stage.

Nigeria will face Norway in their next group-stage match, and the coaching crew is optimistic that Daga will quickly blend into the team and contribute significantly to their quest for victory.
