Gov. Okpebholo's Specianl Adviser on Arewa Community held APC's Victory in Edo LG polls

 


The Special Adviser to the Edo State Governor on Arewa Community, Alhaji Mansur Ibrahim, has described the victory of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in the just concluded Local Government Council elections in Edo State as overwhelming and well-deserved.


Alhaji Mansur said the outcome of the council elections serves as a clear litmus test for the forthcoming general elections. According to him, the massive support for APC across the 18 Local Government Areas shows that the people are ready to re-elect the party at all levels in order to sustain good governance and secure a better future for the country.


He stated that the peaceful conduct and impressive turnout of voters during the election is very courageous. It signifies that the people still have APC at their heart because of the party’s commitment to development, security, and inclusive governance.



The Special Adviser used the opportunity to congratulate the Executive Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, the Edo State APC Chairman Chied Dr. Jeret Tenebr and the party leadership for recording a resounding victory in all 18 local government councils in both chairmen and councillors seats.


As Chairman of APC Arewa Community in Edo State, he is optimistic that the newly elected local government chairmen and their councillors will work closely with Governor Monday Okpebholo to drive development to the grassroots and meet the yearnings of the people.


He further noted that the victory is a testament to the trust Edo people have in the leadership of Senator Okpebholo and the APC’s Renewed Hope agenda. 


He added that the results reflect the governor’s focus on infrastructure, education, healthcare, youth empowerment, and economic growth since assuming office.


Speaking on the role of the Arewa Community in the state, Alhaji Mansur Ibrahiy assured that the community remains solidly behind the APC administration. 


He reiterated that the Arewa Community in Edo State will continue to stand with APC. They will live in peace and harmony with their host communities and remain committed to contributing their own quota towards the development of Edo State. 


Alhaji Mansur Ibrahim  believe in one Nigeria, and under Governor Okpebholo every community has a sense of belonging in Edo State.


He called on the newly elected council officials to be transparent, accessible, and people-oriented in the discharge of their duties, stressing that the people expect dividends of democracy at the grassroots level.


Alhaji Mansur finally urged all APC members and supporters to remain united and work harder to ensure the party’s continued dominance in Edo State and across the country.
