The Muslim Youth Foundation of Southern Kaduna distributed rice palliatives to its members during its annual Ramadan lecture held in Kaduna, with hundreds of beneficiaries receiving support as part of efforts to ease hardship during the fasting period.
Speaking at the event, the guest lecturer, Imam yy that unity remains their strongest tool for achieving meaningful progress and addressing shared challenges.
In his remarks, the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, represented by the Director General of the Kaduna State Bureau of Interfaith, Barrister Tahir I. Tahir, urged Muslims in Southern Kaduna to be their brothers’ keepers. He commended the foundation for promoting unity through its platform and encouraged members to remain strategic and focused in the pursuit of their goals.
Presiding over the occasion, the Chairman, Tanimu Muhammad Inuwa, described the lecture as a wake up call for Muslims to reflect on their relationships and responsibilities toward one another, especially during the sacred month of Ramadan.
The annual lecture and palliative distribution underscore the foundation’s commitment to fostering unity, compassion, and social support among Muslims in Southern Kaduna, while reinforcing the values of charity and communal harmony central to the Ramadan season.
