Late elder statesman Rabiu Bako has been described as a patriotic leader who made immense sacrifices for the development of Kaduna State and Nigeria at large. The Advisory Counsellor to the Governor of Kaduna State on Humanitarian Affairs, Ibrahim Rilwan Muhammad, made the remark during a condolence visit to the residence of the deceased in Kaduna. He described the passing of the former Commissioner for Information as a painful loss, noting that his death was an act of God that cannot be questioned. Muhammad prayed for Almighty God to grant the late Bako eternal mercy and give his family the strength to bear the loss. The late Rabiu Bako reportedly passed away in the early hours of Saturday, March 1.
Meanwhile, a grassroots political group supporting the administration of Uba Sani has described Ibrahim Rilwan Muhammad as a pillar of the All Progressives Congress. The Kaduna State Coordinator of the group, Comrade Kabiru Wushishi, stated this during a solidarity visit to Muhammad’s residence in Kaduna. The group expressed confidence in him as its state patron, stressing that his leadership would strengthen the party’s chances of victory in forthcoming elections. Responding, Muhammad said his long standing relationship with Governor Uba Sani motivated his support for the administration. He added that through his foundation he would continue to provide the necessary support to ensure the success of the government and affirmed his readiness to serve the people of Kaduna State in any capacity he is called upon.
