The Southern Kaduna APC Elders' Forum has reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to fully participate in the forthcoming electioneering campaign, with the sole objective of ensuring that President Ahmed Bola and Governor Uba Sani secure their second term in office come 2027 general election.
This decisive stance was made clear during a series of visits to the APC state secretariat and key stakeholders, where members of the forum officially announced their decision to throw their weight behind the party's candidates.
The Southern Kaduna APC Elders' Forum, a conglomerate of distinguished technocrats from diverse fields, has converged to realign with the party and engage with relevant stakeholders, with the overarching goal of actualizing the continuity of the APC government in Kaduna state and beyond.
Speaking on behalf of the forum, Chairman Mr. John Mucha Abong highlighted the palpable impact of President Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani's inclusive governance, which has successfully galvanized sons and daughters of Southern Kaduna to join the party, in pursuit of more dividends of democracy in Kaduna state and Nigeria as a whole.
Mr. Abong made this statement during a courtesy visit to the Kaduna state APC chairman, Air Commodore Emmanuel Jekada, where he briefed him on the forum's vision and mission.
Responding, the APC state chairman, Air Commodore Emmanuel Jekada, lauded the APC Elders' Forum in Southern Kaduna for their foresight and strategic approach, describing them as exemplary ambassadors of the party.
He emphasized that APC needs more hands and forces on deck to guarantee its success at all levels in future elections and commended the forum for their proactive efforts in mobilizing support for the party.
Furthermore, the forum also paid a visit to the residence of revered elder statesman, Engineer Sani Isma'ila, to apprise him of their plan and seek his fatherly blessings for more success in Governor Uba Sani's political career.
The visitation yielded positive results, as the forum garnered strong support and words of encouragement from the APC state leadership and the elder statesman, bolstering their resolve to actualize their dream of seeing APC remain a champion among all.
