Renowned Islamic Scholar Sheikh Shehu Usman Idris Regi-Regi Dies in Zaria

The death of a respected Islamic scholar, Sheikh Shehu Usman Idris Regi-Regi, popularly known as Na Man Zon Allah, has been announced.

Sheikh Regi-Regi passed away after a brief illness at a private hospital. His death has thrown the Kusfa community in Zaria city and the wider Islamic circle into mourning, given his long-standing influence as a religious teacher and community figure.

Family sources confirmed that the late cleric is survived by four wives, thirty-seven children, and several grandchildren. He was widely regarded as a devoted family man whose life revolved around faith, teaching, and service to humanity.

The burial prayer (Salatul Janazah) is scheduled to take place at 4:30 pm on Monday at his residence in Kusfa, Zaria. Relatives, students, colleagues, and members of the public are expected to attend in large numbers to pay their final respects.

Sheikh Shehu Usman Idris Regi-Regi was known for his deep knowledge of Islamic teachings and his commitment to guiding people on the path of righteousness. Over the years, he earned respect for his humility, discipline, and dedication to spreading Islamic values, particularly among the youth.
