Ikulu Chiefdom initiate inclusive dialogue to to strengthen peace, unity and security

The Ikulu Traditional Council recently held a quarterly meeting at the Chiefdom Traditional Council Palace in Kamuru, Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State. 

The meeting aimed to update citizens on recent state government policies and address key issues affecting the chiefdom. 

 The meeting expressed satisfaction over the steady improvement in security within the chiefdom, thanks to the Kaduna State Government's efforts. This has brought a renewed sense of peace and safety to residents, creating a conducive environment for development and investment.

 The Overseer of the chiefdom, Dr. Ayasal Anthony, briefed the gathering on recent state government initiatives in areas such as Improved security architecture in the area, establishment of a university in Kachia, described it as transformational and timely, Support for agricultural development, Development of rural infrastructure.

Counseling and guidance were provided to youths to desist from social vices such as alcoholism and drug abuse.


A call for unity and peaceful coexistence among the people of Ikulu Chiefdom was stressed, along with a renewed commitment to fostering grassroots development.

 The meeting served as a platform for inclusive dialogue on matters ranging from healthcare, land management, cultural preservation, and community development.

The Ikulu Chiefdom has reiterated its commitment to collaborating with the Kaduna State Government and security operatives to strengthen peace, unity and security in the area 

The traditional title holders and other notable Ikulu sons and daughters promised to continue live as one family for common goal of Ikulu land and environs
